Yes! I'm super hyped for Wanderstop, and I got it on release. I'm diving in as soon as I am done with the other games I need to play. But that demo GOT ME GOOD... And I did also play about an hour after the demo and uuuh... There's some other great stuff with the other characters.
The characters are another highlight of the game, their stories and personalities are written so well. Enjoy Wanderstop when you get to it! It's not very long, 12-15 hours for most players, and every one of them just wonderful 😊
Absolutely, Christena, you should play it if it sparked your interest! The burnout part isn't a spoiler really, since it's revealed in the prologue and the tutorial, but going into Wanderstop blind is awesome 😊
From what I understand, the game isn't optimized for Steam Deck (yet?) and I have seen complaints about the compatibility in some Steam reviews, so maybe hold off on that for now? I'd hate you to have a bad experience! Fwiw the game runs beautifully on PC.

Nice review! I'm a week away from a trip to an island without cell reception (to combat my own tendency for burnout).
I'm interested to learn whether this plays well on the Steam Deck? Could be another game I pack along for the trip.
